98-YO Mother Joins Her 80-YO Son In Care Home To Look After Him – A True Story of a Mother’s Undying Love

A mother’s love for her child is unconditional, and there is nothing more powerful than that, regardless of the age of the mother and child, and here’s the best example of how strong the bond of a mother and child really is. 80-year-old Tom, living in Moss View Care Home in Liverpool, is joined by his mother, 98-year-old Ada Keating, and they get along impeccably beautiful, and they are even glad to be together.

Tom was the eldest of 4 children in the family – Tom, Barbara, Margi and Janet, who unfortunately died at the age of 13. As a retired painter and decorator from HE Simm Building Services on Prescot Road, Tom joined to become a resident at the Care Home last year as it was difficult for him to get the support that he needed.

The duo is inseparable and enjoys spending time together, from playing games to watching Emmerdale. As a former auxiliary nurse, Ada says that she loves to go to Tom’s room each night to say goodnight, and the feeling is mutual, as Tom also loves the fact that his mother still looks after him as age has caught up to her as well. This heartfelt story of the unconditional love between a mother and her child proves that at whatever age, you never stop being a mom!
