Boy “Too Busy” Playing Video Games To Help With Chores, So Dad Teaches Him Lesson Going Viral

Have you ever seen parenting instructions come in a booklet? It doesn’t come in a manual says Clint Edwards

Edward, the author of Hilarious stories from a Father of the Three who made all the mistakes (and made for them) he was clueless what he should do as a father because his childhood wasn’t spent with his father. He explains it clearly in on the about me section that “I say I have no idea what I’m doing because my father wasn’t around when I was a child.”

“I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing because I didn’t have a father in my life. I still don’t have someone to turn to when it comes to fatherly questions, so I’m making this up as I go.”

All his writing approaches the audience in a different manner. The Washington Post, New York Times, and Scary Mommy are all his featured publications. Even people follow him on social media to see his happening events in his life. Recently among all his creations one became viral because it was heartwarming. It was about his son, Tristan,

“I often describe my 11yo as an immovable slug of a boy, so when I asked him to help me unload the dirt from our small pickup into his mother’s new garden boxes, his reaction was typical.”

At the same moment, Tristan was playing the computer game Roblox on couch decked in his sweatpants.

Edward realized Tristan was too busy to help him once he made the request,

But dad didn’t give up, he didn’t want his son to say no as the answer,

Finally Edward was success in taking Tristan into the backyard after some to and fro struggles.

They started shoveling dirt and while shoveling after some time the boy turned and questioned him “Why do we have to do this?”

Edward was shocked and didn’t have any idea how to react because none of them were interested in gardening as Edward’s wife did.

“I thought, and he waited, and finally I said, ‘When you love someone, you serve them.’”

Even though Triston got an answer, he wasn’t satisfied with his answer but he didn’t tell anything in return as well. Finally, Edward made up his mind that it was the end of the lesson.

Apparently the next day was a happy day for his wife. She picked some dirt the next day and she when she was about to start to unload it, Tristan has joined to help voluntarily and started to work says Chris. Even Edward had been surprised after seeing the picture.

“When she asked him ‘why’, he shrugged and said, ‘Because I love you.”

“I’ve never been prouder of my son.”
